Welcome to the website for Senghenydd Community Centre
Senghenydd Community Centre is a volunteer run facility providing activities & services for the community and is the ideal venue to hire for your event, party, meeting or family function. We are host to weekly Citizens Advice Bureau drop in sessions, regular Councillor surgeries, a monthly Lunch Club for over 55s, Cinema showings, exercise sessions and special live events. Our Centre houses The Aber Valley Heritage Museum. We have a number of spaces to hire suitable for regular and one-off events including Children’s birthday parties, business meetings, exercise sessions, training days, wedding parties and family functions. Our premises is licenced, so a bar can be provided for your booking too. We welcome any enquiries to see how we can accommodate you so please phone, email or drop in to the Community Centre during office hours for a chat. We look forward to hearing from you.
We’re happy to announce that Lyndsey shankland working medium will return to Senghenydd Community Centre on Friday 27th July for An Evening of Mediumship.
This will take place in our upstairs function room, at 7:30pm on 27th July. Bar & refreshments will be available.
Tickets are £10.00 each & available now from the office at Senghenydd Community Centre. (9:30am – 4:30pm Mon – Thu/9:30am – 3:30pm Fri) Don’t miss out!

On Saturday 12th May 2018 at 7:00pm in Aber Valley YMCA, Aber Valley Heritage Group will be holding a Fundraising Concert for the Windsor Colliery Memorial. Tickets cost £5.00 each and are available now from Senghenydd Community Centre Office during office hours, or Aber Valley Heritage Museum on Saturdays 11:00am – 2:00pm.
Senghenydd Community Centre & Aber Valley Heritage Museum are now closed for the Bank Holiday Weekend and will both re-open on Tuesday 3rd April.

On Monday 9th April, come along to our Easter Cinema at Senghenydd Community Centre to see PADDINGTON 2.
Entry is £2.00 per person, and includes sweets and a drink.
Doors open at 10:30am, and the film starts at 11:00am.
Under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.
